Episode 2 : Transforming Your Identity

The question that I want you to ask yourself is…How do you see yourself? 

Perhaps you see yourself as someone who can’t stick to a diet, or someone who is addicted to sugar. If you can identify with either of these or some other self judgment that you have about yourself,  and that’s what you are thinking about all of the time, then everything that you do, will align with that.

So if you think you are fat, then you will do the things that keep you fat. If you identify as someone who is addicted to sugar, then it doesn’t matter how bad you want to lose weight, that piece of cake will end up in your mouth.

Because anything that you do to get healthier, is in a direct conflict with who you think you are.

And who you think you are, deep down, trumps everything that you do…and that’s why you self sabotage.

On the one hand you really want to be healthy but just as you start making progress towards your goal, there’s this dark force that’s literally holding you back.

If you want greater health, a greater sense of well being and joy, and a greater sense of yourself, then you have to become aware that your thoughts and self judgements are misaligned with your vision.

You want to make progress, but you are constantly thinking about the problems and why you can’t do something.

Which is why it’s so hard to get to the next level.

When what we want most, matches up with our thoughts and our attention,

We grow…

We expand…

And we transform…
